The High School Warmup is hosted each week by Matt Taylor. Taylor is also the producer of the top rated afternoon sports talk-show Kravitz and Eddie on 1070 The Fan. Matt has been working at Emmis Communications since December of 2008 after graduating from Franklin College in May of that year. Before coming to Emmis, Matt worked at a country radio station as a weekend DJ, and did play-by-play for the Indiana University Volleyball team. He has also done radio broadcasting for high school football and basketball, and has worked as a play-by-play broadcaster and sideline reporter for IHSAAsports.org. Taylor was a three sport athlete at Roncalli High School, and a four year varsity letter winner on the Franklin College football team. He enjoys high school sports for the purity of the game, and his favorite professional team is the Cincinnati Reds. Matt lives on the southside of Indianapolis with his dog Jack.
