Evansville Memorial takes FW Snider in 2-0 win

FW Snider and Evansville Memorial Girls teams participated in the 2008 State Finals at Kuntz Stadium Saturday at 6pm. Evansville Memorial pulled through with a win 2-0.

This is the first time ever in Indiana History that the same high school has won in both Boys and Girls IHSAA soccer.

FW Snider was unranked and appeared for the first time in the championship since 2004.

Evansville Memorial was ranked 5th and had won 19 straight games.
