First team

Allyse Kotso
Chesterton senior

By the numbers: Averaged 40.5 for nine holes and 81.5 for 18 holes.

Raves: Only girl from Northwest Indiana to make the cut at the state finals. Finished tied for tenth overall with rounds of 76 and 76.


Morgan Goldsmith
Lake Central senior

By the numbers: Averaged 40.67 for nine holes for the Indians. Also a state qualifier.

Raves: Goldsmith was the DAC tournament champion and the best player on the best regular-season team.


Brianna Davy
Lake Central sophomore

By the numbers: Averaged 41.64 for Indians.

Raves: Best sophomore in the region. She won medalist honors at Lake Central, Rensselaer and McCutcheon Invitationals.


Erin DeVaney
Chesterton junior

By the numbers: Averaged 41.8 for 9 holes and 81.5 for 18 holes. Played in the second position most of the year for Trojans.

Raves: Was the medalist at Valpo Sectional for Chesterton with 84.


Jillian Joyce
Boone Grove senior

By the numbers: Averaged 41 for nine holes and 90 for 18 holes.

Raves: First golfer in 10 years to qualify for state for Boone Grove.


Second team


Megan Matura
Lake Central senior

By the numbers: Matura averaged 42.52 for the Indians for nine holes. She ranked up there with the Indian's best players.

Raves: Matura shot an 82 at Lost Marsh to take sectional medalist honors for the second straight year.


Katie Cooper
Hobart senior

By the numbers: Cooper averaged 45 for nine holes and 89 for 18.

Raves: Qualified individually out of the Valparaiso Sectional at the Valpo Country Club and she missed qualifying for state by one stroke.


Annie Nolan
Valparaiso senior

By the numbers: Averaged 44.6 for nine holes and 86.2 for 18.

Raves: She was medalist at the Valpo Sectionals with a score of 82


Jessica O'Brien
Chesterton senior

By the numbers: Averaged 44.5 for nine holes and 85.5 for 18.

Raves: Part of the Trojan's three-headed monster.

Mallory Pratt
Lowell senior

By the numbers: Averaged 44 for nine holes and 88 for 18

Raves: She was medalist for Red Devils in every single dual match.
