Pendleton Heights boys varsity soccer team managed a 1-0 win over conference rival Greenfield Central Tuesday night. In a physical defensive battle, PH keeper Gage Martin continued his steady play making
10 saves on 14 GC SOG.

Pendleton Heights had 10 SOG and the one that mattered most was a header by Jake Tuttle off a missed header attempt by Seth Nyboer at the 18:00 mark in the first half.

Arabian coach Dave Cooper said, "Greenfield is really tough and maybe the best I've seen them in 3 years. Our defense really stepped up tonight, every defensive player. Jake Tuttle played his best and was in the right spot when we really needed it. These conference wins mean a lot but I hope we can start winning a little prettier."

PHHS is now 5-1 and travels to Anderson Highland Thursday.
