The IHSAASports.org Tent travels with the LIVE event crew. When you see the tent, stop on over and nominate a Senior Student Athlete for the Dial One Hour Scholar Athlete Award.

Every month, one male and one female athlete are chosen for a $1,000 scholarship for higher education courtesy of Dial One Hour Heating and Air.






Katie Miller – Randolph Southern High School

Katie is a member of the cross-country, volleyball, track and cheerleading teams at Randolph Southern. She has been the #1 runner all four years of high school on the cross-country team and a major contributor to the track team each spring. Katie has received numerous accolades for her participation in extracurricular activities including Academic All State in volleyball, Honorable Mention Academic All State in cross-country and All State in volleyball. Outside of her participation in athletics, Katie is also a member of the 4-H, FCA, FFA, SADD, Student Council and the National Honor Society. In addition to her contributions to so many organizations, Katie also sports a 4.4 GPA. In honor of Katie’s many high school achievements, IHSAASports.org and Dial One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning are proud to award her a $1,000 scholarship towards the cost of higher education.




Jacob Hopper – Yorktown High School

Jacob is a member of the golf and football teams at Yorktown. Jacob has been honored as an All-Conference golfer and a state finalist in 2008. Jacob’s 2008 Yorktown golf team placed 16th in the state, finishing the first day of competition at The Legends of Indiana Golf Course. In the fall, the Yorktown Football team took the sectional title with a 34-26 win at West Lafayette. In the classroom, Jacob has worked hard over four years to maintain a GPA above 3.4. In recognition of the time and effort Jacob has put into his high school career, IHSAASports.org and Dial One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning is proud to award him a $1,000 scholarship towards the cost of higher education.
