This is another big night of high school football, and there are plenty of games to discuss.

 

As always, we invite you to our Game of the Week on the website. This week, we feature the Battle of State Champions, Indianapolis Ritter at Heritage Christian. This is the first time in tournament history that defending champs have met in the Sectionals, and this is also a re-match of Week Number Nine of the regular season, a game that Ritter handily won.

 

Also on tap, an emotional game between defending 5A champ Center Grove. Coach Eric Moore and his Trojans have to find a way to slow down the Olympians of Columbus East. In addition, Coach Moore's son, Tyson, is a very talented lineman for Columbus East. I cannot think of a more difficult situation for a father in sports.

 

We have talked at lenght about how tough each Sectional is, especially Sectional Number 40. North Daviess at Perry Central, and North Knox at Linton-Stockton are two games featuring two ranked teams. This is only Sectional in the state that can say this is happening.

 

This is also a big weekend for Boys and Girls Soccer in our state. State Champions will be crowned Saturday night in each sport, and we will bring live action of each championship game to you right here in the website.
