Week Number Seven is here, and do not forget that we will be webcasting the Pairings Show for the Football Championships on Tuesday, October 13th from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. Paul Condry and I will be live from the Colt's Complex in Indianapolis with this always-excitng night of drama in terms of who will be playing whom in the football tournament.

 

We still have three weeks of regular season football ahead of us, and there are still thirty two teams without a loss.

 

Let me give you my list of undefeated teams you may not know about: 2A has four who are ranked at various places in the polls. Wheeler, Winchester, Centerville, and South Vermillion all have started off at 6-0, but face tough tests this weekend.

 

There are three undefeated teams in 3A--Lakeland, Batesville, and Indian Creek who seem to be ready for spots in the top ten of the polls.

 

4A Shelbyville keeps roling along and has popped into the Top Ten in the 4A poll.

 

Mishawaka, Homestead, and Kokomo are having great seasons, and need to be mentioned among the elite in 5A.

 

These are just some of the great 6-0 teams that do not seem to be getting as much recognition as they deserve. Remember, Pairings Show on October 13th, and don't forget to listen to Indiana Sports Talk for all of the scores Friday night.
