Miller throws complete game in BHS victory

4/9/2010

The Batesville High School baseball team opened the season with an impressive 12-0 win on the road at Union County. The Bulldogs capitalized on good pitching and timely hitting. Senior Chris Miller got the start on the mound and pitched a complete game. Miller gave up three hits and struck out three. Defensively, the Bulldogs were errorless behind Miller. Offensively, the Bulldogs got good humbers at the plate from Zack Walsh, Eric Meyer, Cameron Fledderman and Ian Manlove. Manlove led the way with three hits and four RBI, while Meyer and Fledderman each had three hits. Walsh had a single and a double, while driving in two runs.
