FISHERS — Oak Hill diver Chris Simmons may have had his lowest score of the season at Tuesday’s Hamilton Southeastern Diving Regional, but it was enough to advance.
Simmons finished with a 340.55, good for sixth and a spot in the IHSAA State Finals on Saturday at the IUPUI Natatorium. The regionals format had the top
eight divers advancing to compete Saturday.
Simmons will appear in his first-ever state finals and will compete in the diving preliminaries, which will begin on Saturday at 9 a.m.
Preliminaries for all other swimming events will be at 6 p.m. Friday.
