The Journal Review
By Matt Wilson
All three Montgomery County coaches had smiles on their faces as they left Saturday’s boys swimming and diving sectionals at the Crawfordsville Aquatic Center.
While none of them came away with the team championship, each coach had plenty of highlights to talk about. North Montgomery and Southmont both will have representatives at Friday’s state prelims at the Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis Natatorium.
Crawfordsville will have two representatives at Tuesday’s diving regionals at Zionsville.
Greencastle won the team title for the third consecutive year with 302 points. Montgomery County schools occupied each of the next three spots, with Crawfordsville taking second (262 points) followed by Southmont (197) and North Montgomery (189).
